BIGBANG and 2NE1 to make an appearance at Japan’s R&B Hip-Hop Festival “SPRINGROOVE”
Idol groups Big Bang and 2NE1 will take part in Japan’s largest R&B and Hip-Hop Festival, SPRINGROOVE. SPRINGROOVE revealed the lineup for the upcoming festival on the 28th and introduced Big Bang and 2NE1 as one of its main lineups.
SPRINGROOVE was established in 2006, inviting local artists as well as international stars to its festivities, and has become Japan’s largest R&B/Hip-Hop Festival. Since 2006, R&B/Hip-Hop artists who have taken part includes Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, Ne-Yo, Rihanna, Keyshia Cole, Akon, and T-Pain, who are some of many artists who have been invited to the grand festival.
Big Bang and 2NE1 will stand on the same stage as LMFAO, who stormed the world with the shuffle dance, and electronic DJ David Guetta, who will also participate in the 2012 SPRINGROOVE.
Big Bang was introduced as the group explosive group who has caused an explosive movement in the music market, while 2NE1 is the next world-leading generation pop icons.
The 2012 SPRINGROOVE will take place in Osaka on March 31st at the Kobe World Memorial Hall and again on April 1st at the Chiba Makuhari Messe Hall.
